Guess what? I fractured my ankle today.

Observation: Chicago people are pretty nice. 7 people offered me assistance and demonstrated concern for me on my way home. The fracture was horrific and I'm in a lot of pain right now.

Maybe I should be superstitious...

anyone know any superstitions for amerliorating pain or increasing healing efficiency?
