I have a friend that is pretty intelligent tell me that the next greatest thing to hit the internet (kinda like milliondollarhomepage) is www.mmmzr.com

milliondollarhomepage.com helped make Alex Tew a millionaire because it was a brilliant idea and has spawned many copycats. The difference is that it actually got the advertisers a lot of traffic because of the publicity generated by media who picked up the story. www.mmmzr.com will not have the same effect because it is a pure ponzi scheme and some clueless reporter who does any research will end up at my blog. I hope they thank me.

The problem with mmmzr.com is that yes, the first few people will make money but this is really a ponzi scheme. A ponzi scheme is similar to a pyramid scheme in the case that the first few people do make bank. It involves the first few people to get abnormally high returns, in this case double your money if 2 people buy the space after you, but there reaches a point where the fraud will fall under the weight of itself. There is no real business or money being generated, it just takes the money from subsequent "investors" to pay the first few. I predict this scheme will go for a bit more until we reach 5 digits in cash because then individuals won't be able to support it. It's hard to get corporations to sponsor the scam. It would be stupid for someone to put their corporate credibility at stake. Wealthy people don't usually get wealthy throwing their money away. Most people that win the lottery though do lose their money in a few years. So maybe idiots will drive up the price but it will never reach six-digits. He can't make that much money because he only gets the last person's cash.

Also, I see people discussing my opinion on a forum and pretending like they knew. Most people think this is a brilliant idea when they first hear of it because it is about money and advertising which is what drives the internet. I'm just trying to help people out and I hear people bash me for it. It just shows that people are cynical and bite the hand that feeds them. I hope you have been helped by my blog and be wary that the investment barely gives you any advertising (30 unique unfocused hits/day roughly according to my friend that invested $2k). If you're a gambling person and wanna double your money, you might actually get your money back. I expect the last sucker to at least fork over $10000 for a spot. If the author didn't use doubling, he actually could've created something almost sustainable... the traffic might've justified it if enough people made a little money.
