Amusing memory

I remember one day in middle school the vice-principle called me into the office and asked me if I was missing something. I thought and thought, and had no idea what I I could be missing. As I was walking out of the office I did realize I was missing a couple hundred dollars. I went back to the office and said that, and the vice-principle asked me to describe how much. I said all in twenty dollar bills, and it turns out that I had used the bills as bookmarks in the library books I returned. I'd forgotten to take them out and the librarian found them.
